Today, Nokia announced to the world, their latest addition to the mobile playground. The new N97 looks like its going to be a powerhouse of a phone, jammed to the brim with features and gizmos. One of the most notable one being the big 3.5-inch TFT Touch-sensitive 16:9 widescreen (640 x 360 pixels), beating Apple iPhone’s screen. Other features include: - 5.0 Megapixel Digital Camera with Carl Zeiss Tessar lens and duel LED flash.

- Wi-Fi Connectivity.
- Assisted GPS Navigation System.
- HSDPA Connectivity.
- TV-output, Video Player, and Video Recorder.
- Full-Size slide out QWERTY Keyboard.

This phone is set to be Nokias new flagship model, transforming the way users intergrate and connect to the internet. The phone will be, when released, the most advanced phone available - blending the gray area between smartphone and laptops. The N97 looks set to be released sometime Q1 2009 with late March being tipped as a possibility, although Nokia did not give any information on an official launch date. |
