i have tried 3 windows mobile phone

1st the smart amazing phone or i-mate smartphone as int. name its windows mobile unkown long ago

2nd the samsung omnia 16gb 2nd gen win mo 6.1

3rd the fucking sony x1

as a techy person i was so meticulous when it comes to phone specs
i prefered much the camera at least 5megapixel and bright flash
ofcourse the memory at least i can have 16gb memory

as i mentioned on the top
all of that phone sucks

omnia and x1 are both trash
it hangs
lags
very slow
very poor sound
camera resolution not fine
display not good
i hate windows mobile
i wont use that again
now im back with my favorite nokia
im happy with my n97 so much... - marco

Definitely NOKIA.

Xperia X1 in the Nehterlands s...s (censorerd) with DUTCH windows mobile that cannot handle any UNICODE. SE Support s...s^2 (censorerd) as they only give standard answer (copy from a textfile and paste it in their reply mail).

Got a X1, but finally after 6 months I gave up and back to my good old N95

I have X1 for a year, and still using P910i. For me it is the best phone made ever. Pity for bad camera and lack of Wi-Fi and GPS.

X1 is fine piece of gadget, but it is not THE PHONE. It is impossible to make a call on sunny ski slope - you can't see anything. You don't know time when did you make a call yesterday, not to mention a week or month ago. You can't memorize more than ONE person's mobile phone number - stupid Outlook DB. And many other stupid Windows things. - avjevtic

Hey Dave,
you said u know of a website that has 67000 programs for x1. Could you please let me know the website.
Appreicate it.
Thnx.

As per the comparison btwn x1 & n97, I think x1 is much better option. Simply coz I have 1 & x1 has both styling and productivity. Sometimes I feel x1 has more productivity than an Iphone ( which I had earlier.)

I dunno what they sold you but it wasnt a nokia n97, im so happy with mine!!! i cant say symbian is the best os but WM certainly ist the best either, i had a x1 and i wasnt disapointed with it because it had all the usual windows bugs but still worked well i only gave it away because my sis lost hers and bought the n97, man it is such a good phone the keyboard is so good and people complain to much about pressing the f button to write numbres but you only need to push for 2 sec and the numbers just pop in there, the same works for all blue symbols on the keys, i dunno but it works so good. I had to restar the X1 so many times but the n97 hangs but all i have to do is wait a little bit and it is good to go. As far as software go i was able to do so much more out of the box with the n97 than with the x1. There are millions of apps for the x1, well not the x1, i mean windows mobile, but a lot of thoes apps you have to pay and other dont work for the x1 resolution or touch screen, there is so much phones with winMobile that out of those million apps only a few are X1 optimized. Cheers - N97 is good

Nokia N97 piece of shit

I absolutely agree with this video. I'm so disappointed with this phone and regret buying it. It doesn't stand a chance against any other smartphones and isn't even stable enough to beat a cheap, basic phone that would be way more responsive and stable than this piece of shit. When I saw Nokia's commercial, I was fascinated and thought this would be my dreamphone, but in reality it's like living in hell, because I've just spent so much money, and I can't even sell it because nobody wants to buy88:(>:(>:(>:( - xperia4eva

i am being honest when i said that N97 is a USERS NIGHT MARE AND ALSO IT IS
THE WORST PHONE EVER PRODUCED BY NOKIA IN THIS CATEGORY. it hangs so
frequently and switches on and off at its sweet will, phone memory get
low..it is irritating.. it has been just 2 months since i have brought this
handset and i have visited the NOKIA CARE CENTRE 3 times for various
problems..i purchased this hand set in the hope that it will give trouble
free performance.. but that was not there.. i am rite in saying that NOKIA
IS EXPERIMENTING WITH CONSUMERS MONEY.nokia is not good in touch sceen
segement.. i have used 6 different models of nokia since 2000( to name a few
6300, n70,n73) and all of then have given a nice performance.. but
unfortunatly my experience with nokia's touch screen is not good.. nokia
should stay out of touch screen segement till they master the technology.. i
was a hard core fan of nokia mobile but this particular handset has made me
to rethink my loyality towards nokia..
i hope that my point is through now.

hey guys, if your really stuck then im telling you that ive played with both of these thoroughly and if you like giving phones new ROMs and having lots and lots of customizations and compatible software then get the x1 for sure! although i have to admit Nokia make excellent products and usually have more satisfying software in their products, the software of the n97 for me was disappointing but i love the design on both xperia x1 and nokia n97! If you are a Nokia fan you may be let down because nokias usual standards are higher but if you dont like windows mobile then dont get the x1, im just going to mention that you can run touch flo 3d and manila on one of the xperia panels, a thing called home 2 which can be another panel, you get access to the full functionality of spb mobile shell 3.0 free which you can get 3.5 aswell, you can make your phone look like the iphone and so much stuff can be done with the xperia so you see i like the xperia better but i was once in love with the n97 lol but the nokia tilt up screen is very nice as the xperia's only tilts a little, and the nokia does not have an optical mouse and the xperia does but please if you have done your research and like the n97 more then go for it! but if you are even preferring the xperia a tiny bit then buy it immediately!!! it wont let you down!!! - Jake
