What is the best Web Browser for N97? 2 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
I am looking for a different Web Browser then the pre-loaded version. Anyone have any suggestions?

Your main options are Opera and SkyFire.

I still prefer the default browser myself, but these are your main two alternatives. I admit I have not tried them on my N97, but I didn't like their interfaces as much on my old N95 8GB.

I have been using Opera mini for about two weeks and like it so far. I prefer using it in landscape mode so the ipod type controller goes away.

I have loaded Opera Mini on my phone as well. I like it overall and have a good experience during browsing.
I have tried out SkyFire on my old N95, and liked it. But for some reason, it says SkyFire is not available for N97.
it detects my phone as 5800 instead of N97, so I have not downloaded it as yet.

I am waiting for the Mozilla mobile browser to come out - Fennec! Should be a good treat.

Trying Digia out right now and im pretty satisfied with it.
Its fast got multiple tabs aswell as back and forward buttons which works well.

Only thing i cant figure out is how to import my old Bookmarks.

But until Fennec is released this webbrowser is the way to go.
