very helpful , thats what i exactly did for my n97 . but i still got a problem unistalling biongo and joiku . i hope nokia comes out with an update for that. ty

Boingo and Joiku are the real frustration. No idea why Nokia decided to make these two compulsary installs. It's the same with Qik on FW 11.0.021.

It might just be me, but when I spend Â£500 on a phone I would like to be able to remove what I want. Boingo and JoikuSpot would be the highest on my list. I don't want them there and it annoy's me that they are taking up phone memory space.

star, believe me it is by far not just you, it is probably 80% or more of the N97 owners, and I feel fairly confident this will be fixed in the next FW update. Nokia has had their ears full of this complaint.

yea you know thats totaly true , we want complete control over our n97 apps. lets hope we get a good bugg free update soon. i still didnt get v11 on my sim free n97 RM-505 i think. tc

I'm still waiting on the update too. My son had his N97 a few hours and updated. But he got the black N97, mines white. Starting to think I should have gone for the black one now.
