If you uninstall these applications/widgets and re-install them on your E: drive (mass storage 32GB) you will save over 10MB of space on your C: drive (phone memory).

NB// Application on the OVI Store have hyperlinks to the OVI Store homepage. This is as a result of the direct application links to the OVI Site are time limited, so you need to search for the files when you arrive at the site. Don't forget to set the phone model to N97.

Also there are 4 Reuters widgets available on the OVI Store. For the Slideshow widget you need to select the widget that is called "Reuters" under the "News & Weater" subsection of "Applications".

I have done a bit of searching around the C: drive using Active File and found that there is a Mail for Exchange .sisx installation file hiden on the C: drive not accessible via the standard File Manager. Moving this to the E: drive saves c.1.5MB. Also a Welcome Screen video is saved on the C: drive and moving this saves another c.1.5MB.

mbrett, I could only get three of the links to take me somwhere other than to a page that says Sorry no longer available, these three that worked were, BBC, Bloomberg(which is now at the OVI store), and World traveler. Just though I would let you know.

I think they must have been time limited as they worked finr for me last night when I posted this, but they don't work for either this morning. Changed them to links the the ovi site front page. Remember to set the phone model to N97.

Funny thing was when I did a Hard Reset while trying to debug that problem I posted on that "other" forum, I found that my C: drive now has twice the amount of free memory!

Now if I can only get the two programs I bought from Ovi I forgot to backup, I'd be happy again.

Moral of the story, boys and girls, remember to backup, backup and backup... but don't forget to change your message store back to E: after you've backed up

For those of you who haven't tried backup and restore, you can now do selective backups and restores with the Backup app, selecting just one item, so the nice thing is you can restore just apps without the settings that could be bad.

I remember that on my N95, selective backup and restore was only available through the PC and not the phone based app.

I hae had two applicaion that I have baught from OVI Store now that when lost during a factory reset I have not managed to get the OVI Store team to provide me again it's rediculous. I hava paid for them. Why can't I install them again?

mbrett, I too have had this this problem, they have actually sent me links to DL the programs again, but as of now they still do not work. They just end up at a page that says I do not have the right to be there, so it is still an escalated problem, but Nokia Finland is supposed to be looking into it. Everything on the OVI Store is ran thru Finland, so no other Nokia department has access to the info or backdoor rights.

I'll let you know if I get any other news or what the outcome is.
