this sux ... my vibration suddenly stopped!
im using the newest firmware v.12.2.024 too!
im thinking its not a software , but a hardware issue.

i tried tapping the phone a few times against the mouse pad and it would vibrate a few times, and then stop again.

i called customer care in the states, and they fowarded me to some outsourced center in the phillipines or something.
the best offer they gave me was to send the phone back so they can fix it.

anyone have any idea? or know of any care centers that are local?! im hesitant abuot sending my 700$ phone out....

hi !

i dont think there are local service points in california. they told me to send it back to some place in alabama and they'll pay for shipping. its just such a hassle. if i had my iphone, id just bring it to the apple store.....
kinda sucks ...

I am afraid you will most likely have to send it to Alabama, they normally get the unit fixed and back out in a decent amount of time. Many people in the states have had to send off their N97 without hassle, so I think you will be fine, the only problem will be the time without it.
