I have even just clipped on the back without putting the hooks in first - with a little bit of elbow grease I just forced them in. Dont be too scared by it, it is quite robust.
I have finally gotten the back cover back on... I ended up using a knife to open up the hooks a wee bit. Now it fits very well. It was a major pain in the arse, though.
