Hey Guys and Gals,

Weve updated the front page with a news article regarding the estimated price for the Nokia N97. With the price looking to be around £500 to £600 sim free, we would like to ask you... How much would you pay?

Do you think the handset is priced to high or not high enough?

Personally, I think with the known specs to the N97, that the price seems very fair. But alas, we are all different. Let us know your thoughts

Well I'm in the US and it's rumored to cost over $1,000 sim free, which is way to expensive for me.

But I am hoping the price will be much lower on contract. Though in the US, we don't get nearly as good deals as you lot in the UK!

I will probably pay up to $300 for the N97. I'm really hoping it's not going to be more expensive than that, as I don't want to have to wait for it to be lowered, by which time there will probably be another new phone I want.

Only 2 months to wait and we'll finally know for sure.

The phone is a very good spec, but Nokia would be stupid to set the price point too high, especially as it already has lots of rivals such as the HTC Touch, Xperia X1, iPhone, 5800 etc.

If i am being honest the top amount i would pay for the N97 is £400.00 and nothing more. I have spent far too much on new phones in my life time and i think i'm nothing short of a phone junkie! I have had my iPhone for a while now and i feel like a change again and after looking at a number of reviews and such, i think my heart is officially set on the N97 - whether my wallet will be able to take the crunch is another question though.

With the news of the Nokia EU site having the phone available for pre-order. Some of the major suppliers [play etc] have slapped a price tag of £499 on the handset. This is there of thereaouts to what we expected, maybe a tab cheaper
