WRT (1), (2) and (4) have you installed any themes that have stated "Not Compatable" during install. It looks to me like your OS GUI has become a little corrupted. The only way I have been able to sort this kind of issue is to change to a default theme. Uninstall all applications and then Hard Reset (*#7370) the phone (Password is 12345 as default). This will format you C: drive so make sure you back-up before doing this. I would advise backing-up and formatting you E: drive too as you will probably have had applications and themes installed there too. When you restore I would advise that you do not restore "Settings" or "Files" as these could re-introduce issues from your presnet installations.

WRT (3) The best place to go for themes IMHO is www.tehkseven.net

To point 3, if you're looking for an IM/web communications platform, I have to recommend Nimbuzz, you'll find it on the Ovi store, excellent app and completely free.

With regards to e-mail, there's the nokia messaging app which will handle hotmail for sure, no idea on g-mail or yahoo as I don't use them.

Moderator even after doing the hard reset..the previous windows fade image can be seen sometimes not everytime... Hard reset, formats the mass memory and the c drive right ?.I did that and did not restore nythng as its just a 5day old phone.no contacts nothing.or themes.

the memory has to be formatted independently fromt the master reset, go to applications, office, file browser and select the mass memory, from there you can format it.
