Hey all,
I work in the Sydney CBD and we did not have any internet for the past week due to some subcontractor chopping through 10,000 optical fibre cables. As a result I have been tethering to go on the net at work.
I have found the data speed to be quicker than I had expected, and unlike my collegue and his iphone, I did not have to pay an extra 10 a month on my phone plan to tether.
Has anyone else used tethering? If so what do you think?

Hi Jimmy, im in Sydney too and am VERY interested in tethering? What is it and hows it work?? Im with optus and im paying the extra $10pm.....have never heard of it mate!
