i'm having a problem on my N97. the phone always notify me about the packet data.
"packet data: Packet data connection not available"
how can i get rid of that?pls help me.the problem also drains my battery.someone help me about this problem.

i wrote a composition before but it told me that i need to sign in... Anyways long story short ur widgets need to update themselves so they need a connection.to stop that from happening click on options on the homescreen and put content to offline mode..note that every time u click on a widget it automatically goes online and u have to turn it off again

Another thing to check is, if Packet data connectin is set to "When Available". If it is, try chaning it to "When needed".
This can be found in:
Settings / Connectivity / Admin. settings / Packet data / Paket data connection
"When Available" drains the battery a lot more than "When needed"
