There is lim ited mac support. There are downloads at the Nokia site for Maps Downloader for mac and media Transfer. These allow transfer of maps and some integration with iTunes. It is also possible to connect the N97 in USB mode which allows direct file transfer that you can also use to put music and videos onto the phone.
Synchronising PIM data is rather more problematic. As yet there is no iSync plug in for the N97. There are work arounds using Google calendar to sync diary entries. Contacts are more difficult. There are issues with importing or synchronising contacts that seem to be in the contacts application itself. The only thing that worked for me was using a PC and the curent version of PC suite. even then I had to export my contacts to google then export from google in Outlook CSV format and import into Windows addresses before they would import to the phone and I had to do a factory settings reset on the phone before they would sync.
Hopefully an iSync plug in will appear before longor Contacts app will be fixed.
Best of luck
