When you put in the cable take, Mass Storage instead of PC Suite, incase a new window dosnt pop up where u can shose to browse threw your files, Go to my Computer and you should have a new disk there, Open it and you should have a Videos folder. If you dont got any Video folder just make a new one and voila.

If your using Ovi Suite, which is what came with the N97, it is at the top of the page, third from the left, the little screen with the filmstrip behind it.
I prefer PC Suite, and on it, it is the filmstrip icon, if you choose the icon it will automatically convert the video, so I actually prefer to drag the video on to the picture of the phone on the left of PC Suite, and choose to not convert the video, as I have already made the video the size and bit rate I want and do not want it changed.
I do not like Mass Storage, and very rarely ever use it, but you can use it.

I always use mass storage mode when transfering music and video, it's damn slow in pc suite mode otherwise.
copyless: Why don't you like mass storage mode ?
It seems one area Nokia always forgets to address is the speed issue when transfering music, video's etc in pc suite mode.
But in saying that, Nokia on it's own website states you should use mass storage mode when transfering files.
The only fault there may be is that when the phone switches to mass storage mode it has to unload the current theme if it is installed on the mass storage.
I found it not to be a problem on the N97 because when you unplug the phone for me it switches back to the theme i was using on mass storage.
This is something my N95 8GB never did and made mass storage mode a pain in the ***.
My 2 cents

I just don't like it, it sometimes has strange effects on the phone, and I had rather let the program do all the filing. This is why there are different ways to solve things, I'm not saying to not use Mass Storage, just that I prefer not to, with my set up and the things I do on the phone, for me is is a lot easier to choose PC Suite and go. I already have my computer set up to make all the necessary transfers when I hook up my phone, as I keep several different files on several different drives that I have hooked to my computers, this is most likely not the case for most people.
For the speed of transferring the videos and audio in PC Suite it is pretty slow when you actually use the video or audio transfer mode and this is because it is converting the video or audio before it transfers it. But when you drag and drop the video and have "do not convert" selected it will transfer a few hundred Mbs in a matter of seconds, so I can transfer a 6-7 VOB file in 1-2 minutes, and I have this much time to spend.

That's fair enough, I guess it's down to personal preference
